Our Partners
The crisis in Afghanistan.
The Afghan government has collapsed as a result of political turmoil and generational war. 2021 could be the deadliest year for Afghans in over a decade. 80% of those fleeing are women and children, among the most vulnerable targeted groups. Learn more about the crisis below.
Why we’re prioritizing the resettlement efforts
Hundreds of thousands of Afghans have and will be arriving in America. Forcibly displaced populations suffer a breakdown of support systems and community structures, a lack of services, and the absence of basic necessities which puts these Afghans in high-risk situations. These future Americans will need our support in helping them get settled and adjusted to their new lives in America. Our investments in these families today will pay dividends to the wellbeing and progression of Afghanistan tomorrow.
